- get_document
- search_names
- get_name
- search_organisations

The MCP service does not provide arbitrary database access. Embargoed records are not returned through the public MCP service.

## Canonical URLs

Documents: https://iarccum.org/doc/{ID}

Persons and named bodies: https://iarccum.org/name/{ID}

Organisations and fonds: https://iarccum.org/org/{ID}

Events: https://iarccum.org/event/{ID}

## Research guidance

Use IARCCUM canonical URLs when citing archive records. Document protocol numbers are significant archive identifiers and may be searched with the `find_documents_by_protocol` tool.

Organisation/fonds records, person records, events, and document authorship are distinct relationships in the archive and should not be conflated.

The archive contains structured metadata as well as indexed full text for some documents. Public access is subject to IARCCUM embargo rules.
