This has not been an easy task, because of the inherent complexity and depth of the mystery. For the same reason, our study cannot be complete or perfect. We have paid particular attention to the sacramentality of the Church; that is to the Church as a divine gift, grounded in Christ himself and embodied in human history, through which the grace of Christ is mediated for the salvation of humankind. In doing this, we believe that we have laid a necessary foundation for further work on vital topics which were broached by our predecessors in the first Anglican Roman Catholic International Commission. In particular we look forward to deeper study of the nature of the authority of Christ, the living Word of God, over his Church, and of the means through which he exercises that authority and his people respond to it.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Catholic Truth Society &amp; Church House Publishing</dc:publisher><dc:date>1990-09-06</dc:date><dc:type>Text</dc:type><dc:format>text/html</dc:format><dc:format>application/pdf</dc:format><dc:format>application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document</dc:format><dc:identifier>https://iarccum.org/doc/13</dc:identifier><dc:source>https://iarccum.org/doc/13</dc:source><dc:language>en</dc:language><dc:relation>OCLC 37430265</dc:relation><dc:relation>OCLC 45568154</dc:relation><dc:relation>OCLC 964370512</dc:relation><dc:relation>ARCIC-II : Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission II : Dialogue reports &amp; agreed statements</dc:relation><dc:relation>https://iarccum.org/doc/575</dc:relation><dc:relation>https://iarccum.org/doc/230</dc:relation><dc:rights>© 1990, Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission</dc:rights></oai_dc:dc></metadata></record></GetRecord></OAI-PMH>
