ACO notes in response to PCPCU concerns about the involvement of Bishop Frank Griswold’s participation in the Informal Talks and as chair of ARCIC. The PCPCU concerns are outlined in Doc 2013/03. Though the former document was shared with the ACO in advance, there is no indication if, or when, this ACO document was shared with the PCPCU.

The date of this present document is unclear. The Informal Talks were held 25 November 2003, but this document was clearly drafted earlier when the participation of Bishop Griswold remained undetermined. It appears that Bishop Griswold was nevertheless present in Rome for the ARCIC Steering Committee meeting and for a meeting of the Governors of the Anglican Centre in Rome on the same weekend.
