Additional material pertinent to these dialogue commissions is available in the private papers of the many members and consultors to the dialogue. Some of these papers have been consigned to public archives. Where we have identified the location of such collections, it is noted in the biographical notes. The sponsoring bodies of the international dialogues are the Anglican Communion Office and the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity. They have approved the opening of the ARCIC archives for material more than 30 years old. Print archival material is available at the Anglican Centre in Rome and at the Lambeth Palace Library. Unpublished items are embargoed 30 years.
