John Peterson, secretary general of the ACO, wrote to Cardinal Kasper, president of the PCPCU, to thank him for meeting with the Anglican delegation at the Informal Talks on 25 November. In the letter, Peterson indicates that the ACO will swiftly seek a new Anglican co-chair for ARCIC. He also promises to return to Rome at any time if it would facilitate communication. He expresses a strong commitment to the continuing dialogue and relationship, and thanks Kasper for his friendship and work for Christian unity.
