This article, by then Ecumenical Officer of the Episcopal Church in the USA, gives a capsule history of the subject together with his view of the ecumenical impact.
The article was originally published in Mid-Stream, an ecumenical journal published by the Christian Church: Disciples of Christ and subsequently distributed to the members of ARCCOW in 1978. It appears in the LPL folder CFR-RC-54 as an attachment to ARCCOW 5. It was later distributed to ARCIC II as part of a dossier with the protocol number ARCIC II-58-1. Both scans are poor. The document may also be found in the LPL folder AOJDD-163, Anglican-Orthodox Joint Doctrinal Discussions.
