In 1998 the Roman Catholic Bishops of England and Wales, Ireland and Scotland issued One Bread, One Body and invited ecumenical responses.
In this courteous, but robust reply, the House of Bishops shows that the Church of England upholds the faith of the Church concerning the Eucharist and justifies eucharistic sharing.
