“The division among Christians is a scandal that reduces our credibility in the world.”

The Right Reverend Adrian Wilkinson, Bishop of Cashel, Ferns, and Ossory (Anglican), and The Most Reverend Niall Coll, Bishop of Ossory (Catholic), reflect on their shared journey towards reconciliation and unity. In this video, the bishops share their experiences from the 2024 ‘Growing Together’ Summit, including deep conversations about synodality, global challenges like climate change and conflict, and their shared witness to the Gospel. They emphasise the importance of listening, journeying together, and acting in unity to strengthen their mission. Their reflections also highlight the significance of putting historical divisions aside, fostering mutual respect, and working together as servants of Christ to make a difference in the world.

This film is part of an ecumenical programme by IARCCCUM that pairs Anglican and Roman Catholic bishops for prayer, dialogue, and joint mission.
