The Rt Revd Robert Innes from the Diocese in Europe is the Co-Chair of IARCCUM (the Inter-Anglican Roman Catholic Commission on Unity and Mission). He was also part of the Anglican delegation that went to Rome to attend the funeral of Pope Francis.
In this film, Bishop Robert shares why ecumenical dialogue between Anglicans and Catholics is so important. He also reflects on the commissioning of the IARCCUM bishop pairs by Pope Francis and the Archbishop of Canterbury in 2024.
The film was made in January 2024, during the IARCCUM ‘Growing Together’ Summit, which took place in Rome and Canterbury. IARCCUM pairs Anglican and Catholic bishops, for ongoing collaboration in mission and ministry.
