This is a work-in-progress. We are adding the scanned documents from the archive to this database, but there is considerable work to be done. Access to the complete archive for each dialogue commission is also available.
Hierarchical context:
From 1970 to 2019, the dialogue consisted of representatives of the Church of England and the Catholic bishops of England. In 2019, the dialogue expanded its membership to include Anglicans from the Church in Wales to more effectively partner the Catholic Church in England and Wales. The dialogue known since its inception as English ARC is now English & Welsh ARC (EWARC).
This page lists all documents added to the IARCCUM.org site in order by original publication date. In addition to the documents prepared for the dialogue commissions, there are a number of additional documents that are included because of their relevance to the dialogues.
Like many archives, the IARCCUM.org archive employs a 30-year embargo policy for unpublished documents. This includes minutes, correspondence, draft texts and notes, as well as study papers. Embargoed documents do not appear in this list. Published materials include the agreed statements, reports, communiqués, and journal articles, all of which are available as soon as they are added to the archive.
News articles are not generally included in the dialogue collection. See the news index to access these materials.
