Erica Sabiti was the Anglican Archbishop of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Boga-Zaire from 1966 to 1974. Ordained deacon in 1933 and priest in 1934, he was consecrated bishop in 1960 for the diocese of Rwenzori. He became the first Ugandan Archbishop in 1966, the first bishop of Kampala in 1972, and he retired in 1974.
