Series: BCEIA , USCC (1966-2001), NCCB (1966-2001), USCCB (2001-)
From 1966 to 2001, the USCC and the National Conference of Catholic Bishops (NCCB) functioned as two separate bodies with a common leadership and purpose. The USCC housed the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, the Communications office, and the Publishing Service, among many other services. The Bishops’ Committee for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations was under the NCCB. In 2001, the US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) was formed, bringing all these offices and committees together.
