a member of the English Dominican Congregation of St Catherine of Siena. A committed scholar and ecumenist, Sr M. Cecily taught Systematic Theology at Ushaw College, near Durham, England for many years and was a much-sought speaker on theological and spiritual topics throughout the United Kingdom. She served with distinction on the English and Welsh Anglican-Roman Catholic Committee (ARC) and from 1983-1990, was a member of the Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission (ARCIC II).
