Dr Paul Avis is Honorary Professor in the Department of Theology and Religion of Durham University and Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Theology and Religion of the University of Exeter. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Ecclesiology and has edited The Oxford Handbook of Ecclesiology (Oxford University Press, 2018) and co-edited (with Benjamin M. Guyer) The Lambeth Conference: theology, history, polity and purpose (T&T Clark, 2017).
