The Reverend Canon Alyson Barnett-Cowan, past president of the Canadian Council of Churches, was awarded the Lambeth Cross for Ecumenism recently by the worldwide Anglican Communion for her longstanding commitment to promoting dialogue and discussion among Canada’s Christian communities.
