Citation:
Collins, John N. Correspondence with Alan Clark, July and August 1974, ARCIC 123 (Aug. 1974). https://iarccum.org/doc/?d=459.

Consists of an initial letter from John N. Collins to Bishop Alan Clark raising concern about the reported use in ARCIC of the term “diakonia” as a New Testament synonym for service. Collins was apparently working on a thesis at King’s College, London and was strongly rejecting the use of the term. Bishop Clark responds with an invitation to either write an article for publication in One in Christ or as a study paper for ARCIC. Collins responds that his time commitments will not allow home to write a detailed paper, but that he would be willing to meet with ARCIC to present his findings and to answer any questions.
